Bed and Breakfast in Bruton South Somerset

The Pines is named after “The Pines Express” which was a train that formed part of the old Somerset and Dorset Railway. It is situated on the old railway line next door to Cole Station which is now a private residence, close to the ancient town of Bruton with wonderful views over the Brue Valley.

It makes an ideal base for those touring Somerset and gives easy access to visitors attending events at Holbrook House, Gants Mill or one of the five schools in the town.

Just a short distance from many local attractions including  The Newt in Somerset – a country estate with extensive woods and gardens. The core is Georgian, with limestone buildings the colour of burnt orange, the seat of the Hobhouse family for more than two centuries.

The accommodation consists of a double en-suite and a twin with a shared bathroom. Both rooms are comfortably furnished and include a television and tea/coffee making trays.
